This Thursday, Texas music legends Christopher Cross, Eric Johnson, and Monte Montgomery will come together for a concert benefitting People’s Community Clinic. Be there when the stars join together at Paramount Theatre on January 17th!
Christopher Cross is the only artist in Grammy history to win all Big Four awards in a single night for his 1979 debut. His single "Sailing" earned three Grammys in 1981 and "Arthur's Theme" won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 1981.
Eric Johnson’s album, Ah Via Musicom, is certified platinum, and his single “Cliffs of Dover” won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. Best known for his electric guitar skills, Johnson is also a highly proficient acoustic, lap steel, resonator, and bass guitarist, as well as an accomplished pianist and vocalist. Guitar Player magazine has called him "one of the most respected guitarists on the planet.”
Monte Montgomery first gained notoriety in 1999, when as a relatively unknown talent he delivered a jaw-dropping live performance on an episode of the PBS series Austin City Limits. He has been named one of the "Top 50 All-Time Greatest Guitar Players" by Guitar Player Magazine and has won the "Best Acoustic Guitar Player" Award at the SXSW's Austin Music Awards seven years in a row.
For nearly 50 years, the mission of People’s Community Clinic has been to improve the health of medically underserved and uninsured Central Texans by providing high quality, affordable health care with dignity and respect.
Enjoy this rare, star-studded Austin music experience at the historic Paramount Theatre, and help bring health care to Central Texas families in need. Tickets begin at 35 dollars.
At Parmer Place Apartments in Austin, Texas, it is clear that we have it all, but we still feel obliged to inform you of all the events our community has scheduled. Please feel free to join in all of the fun during this premier event!
