Felipe Esparza found overnight success when he won NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” competition in 2010. But the intrepid comedian had road tested his material for 16 years – opening for comics like Paul Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias – before his breakout success in 2010.
Since stepping into the national spotlight, Esparza has produced two comedy specials: Netflix’s “They’re Not Gonna Laugh at You” and HBO’s 2017 special “Translate This.” Esparza also hosts his own podcast on the All Things Comedy Network called “What’s Up Fool.” Additionally, Esparza has held recurring appearances on “Superstore” and “The Eric Andre Show.”
