Doll Collectors Far and Wide Will Love this Austin-Centric Event That Keeps It Weird

Ball jointed to bisque and Barbie, Parisian to plastic, Victorian to vinyl. That is what you will find at the 43rd Annual Doll Show and Sale this weekend. The Doll Show and Sale will feature vendors offering items ranging from rare antiques to modern collectibles.

In addition, there will be free informative presentations on dolls. Doll collecting ranks as one of the most popular hobbies in the United States and this family-friendly show offers something for everyone, from serious collectors to those who just like to “play dolls.”

The club will also operate a charity booth selling donated dolls and doll-related items, with proceeds going to support SafePlace of Austin and the Austin Children’s Shelter.

The Austin Doll Collectors Society is an Austin organization of doll lovers of all kinds – antique, vintage, and modern doll collectors, along with dealers, and artisans.

Admission to the doll show is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Free parking is available for all attendees. Door prizes will be given out all day during the show.

At Parmer Place Apartments in Austin, Texas, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
